Men who sport a
10 day beard are considered most attractive by women, while those with full
beards are seen as caring dads, new study has claimed. Researchers from the
University of New South Wales, Australia took photographs of 10 men when they
were clean shaven, at five and 10 days without shaving and full beard.
They then asked
a few hundred women and heterosexual men to evaluate what they thought of the
men in various phases of beard growth. Each face was rated for attractiveness,
masculinity, health and potential parenting ability.
Women chose men
with a heavy 10 day beard as the most attractive and both women and
heterosexual men chose men with full beards as the best with perceived
parenting skills. Men with light stubble (five days of growth) got the lowest
scores across the board from both men and women in all categories, “Medicaldaily.com”
reported.

or untrimmed, it really depends from woman to woman, but because beards have
only come back as a "sexy" thing over the past 8 years or so, trimmed
is the safest route to go. It shows a girl that while you are manly man with
your facial hair, you groom carefully. Let your beard give you DOUBLE FACE

A 10-day beard is the sexiest facial
hair combination for men, according to a new study. According to the researchers, “a threshold of density and distribution
may be necessary for beards to function as an attractive signal.” Researchers
also tested women who were on contraceptive pills and determined that women who
were highly fertile and ovulating increased their score of men’s masculinity
rating compared to women not ovulating.
However, the
phase of fertility that women were in had no effect on their impression of a
man’s attractiveness. The study was published in the journal Evolution and
Human Behaviour. Who were trying to understand the human view of men’s
masculinity and “socio-sexual attributes,” concluded that a full beard conveyed
less aggressiveness. Interestingly woman
went on to note that they found men with 10 day beard as the most attractive, masculine
and healthy.
