Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is an English actress and
model. Watson was born on April 15, 1990 in Paris, France, the daughter of
English lawyers Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson. Emma is the cousins of Lucy
Watson, Nina Watson, Toby Watson and Alex Watson. Watson lived in Paris until
the age of five. Her parents separated when she was young; she moved with her
mother and younger brother to Oxfordshire, spending weekends at her father's
house in London.
After moving to Oxford with her mother and brother, Watson
attended the Dragon School in Oxford, remaining there until 2003. From the age
of six, she wanted to become an actress, and trained at the Oxford branch of
Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing,
dancing, and acting. By the age of ten, she had performed in various Stagecoach
productions and school plays, including Arthur: The Young Years and The Happy
Prince, but she had never acted professionally before the Harry Potter series.
Following the Dragon School, Watson moved on to Headington School. While on
film sets, she and her peers were tutored for up to five hours a day. In June
2006, she took GCSE examinations in ten subjects, achieving eight A* and two A
grades.
Emma Watson loves water sports, and while in Mauritius
gained an Open Water PADI certificate allowing her to SCUBA dive anywhere in
the world. She also likes playing netball, tennis and field hockey (for school
and local teams), skiing, painting, cooking, and singing. She loves to dance.
While filming the third and fourth Harry Potter films she took dance lessons.
She has twice competed with her school in Rock Challenge 2006 and 2007. She has
now gained a Silver Award for freestyle dance and street jazz.
She started her career In 2001 in film Harry Potter and the
Philosopher's Stone, but Released as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in
the US and India, her character named as Hermione Granger and the part of harry
potter keep on going like, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in 2002,
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, Harry Potter and the Goblet
of Fire in 2005, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007, Harry Potter
and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part
1 in 2010 and the last part of Harry Potter was, Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows – Part 2 in 2011. Also she have worked in Ballet shoes, a television
film show on BBC one in 2007 and The Tale of Despereaux in 2008, After
finishing her Harry Potter movies agreement, Emma Watson stepped into the Hollywood
as a young beautiful actress in film’s like, My Week with Marilyn in 2011, and
The Perks of Being a Wallflower in 2012, Her upcoming films are This Is the
End, and The Bling Ring in 2013, and the film NOAH in 2014.
